Richard T. Martin Memorial Academic Scholarship Award Spring 2019
The Kansas Paralegal Association is pleased to award an academic scholarship in the amount of $250.00 to a student enrolled in a college level program on a full-time or part-time basis with an emphasis on paralegal or legal studies.  The student must be enrolled in a qualified program with Washburn University, Washburn Institute of Technology, Johnson County Community College, National American University, or Rasmussen College for the Spring, 2019 semester to be eligible.  

This scholarship will be awarded on merit of the applicant.  Factors that may be considered include:

-Demonstration of a 2.7 GPA or higher ("B" average)
-Participation in activities that promote the paralegal profession
-Participation in community service activities
-Review of writing sample

Applications for this scholarship must be received by December 30, 2018 for consideration.  Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.  Funds will be paid directly to the recipient's paralegal education institution by the Kansas Paralegal Association.
